Nokia Hellas SA assigned the construction of a New Data Center and Lab Basement in their Nea Kifisia building to A& Powering Construction. Specifically, A&G Powering Construction undertook the construction of both civil engineering projects and electromechanical installations at the new Data Center of Nokia Hellas SA in Nea Kifissia, with a total area of ​​600 square meters. Regarding the same facility, A&G also undertook the construction of electrical, mechanical and civil engineering works for the formation of a new Technology Laboratory (Lab Basement) with a total area of ​​400 square meters.

Unlike copper cables where data travels in the form of a low-power electrical current, in optical fibers the data is encoded in pulses of light, which travels at a much higher speed. OTE Fiber To The Home aims to perform in higher speeds, since the optical fiber is not affected by the distance, like the current copper connections. OTE commissioned A&G Powering Construction to build the necessary facilities for the optical fibers.

A&G undertook the construction of a civil engineering project and electrical installations for the interconnection of residences with the new optical fiber network of the OTE company, in Attica. The replacement of copper by optical fiber has revolutionized transmission speeds, ensuring 100 and 200 Mbps, while with VDSL speeds reach up to -not guaranteed- 24 Mbps.

A&G Powering Constructions created an upgrated Control Room for TRAM SA. Specifically, TRAM SA commissioned A&G Powering Constructions to the construction of the company's new Control Room and Train Management Center at the TRAM SA depot in Elliniko, Attica.

One of the most dynamically developing multinational companies, NOKIA SOLUTIONS AND NETWORKS HELLAS, assigned to A&G Electrical Constructions the air conditioning replacement/upgrade of the «Computer Rooms» as well as the upgrade of high voltage electrical installation, dictated by the significant increase of equipment.

A&G conducted the total contracting of the project, performing both exemplary electromechanical and building works, and successfully delivering turnkey services.

The following electromechanical works were performed on this project:

• Installation of air conditioning systems

• Airway installation

• Installation of cooling networks

• General lighting and emergency lighting

• Earthing system

• Management system and remote monitoring BMS

In addition, regarding to the creation/arrangement of the extensions, the following building works were performed:

• Installation of drywall systems

• Installation of raised floor

• Installation of mobile partitions

• Installation of curtains for cold rooms

• Painting
